Steps to a Cure
In March of 2026, Touched by Type 1 brought the community together for Steps to a Cure at Lake Eola Park in Orlando, uniting more than 98 teams and over 1,000 attendees for a powerful morning of awareness, connection, and impact. From the walk itself to family-friendly activities and a Health & Wellness Fair featuring local healthcare providers, the event created space for education, support, and meaningful conversations around Type 1 Diabetes—while raising critical funds and hope for a cure.
This annual event continues to grow, welcoming anyone impacted by Type 1 Diabetes or supporting someone who is. Participation is free, and with convenient parking surrounding Lake Eola, it’s an accessible and inspiring way to get involved. Registration for the next Steps to a Cure will be opening soon—join the movement as we walk united to raise awareness, support one another, and move closer to a cure.
